In August of 2005 I apprenticed under rug weaver Susanne Grosjean. I wove a rug for her, but also had the opportunity to dye yarn for my own (as of yet unwoven) rug. The blue is, and the yellows, organges, and reds are a combination of goldenrod, madder, and synthetic yellow dies.
